Release Update, Aug. 8, 2022
BEST Inc. released upgrades in USOMS Portal as following:
New Inventory Condition- Expired
If you are selling topical or consumable products and need a way to track expired inventory, BEST has added another inventory condition- Expired to provide you the visibility of your expired inventory for better management.
- After inventory arrived to BEST fulfillment centers, BEST system will monitor provided expiration dates. Unshipped inventory that passed expiration date will be moved to the condition of Expired and will not be allocated for any new orders.
- Existing function updates:
- USOMS > Inventory > All Inventory Query
- USOMS > Inventory > Inventory Activity Query
- USOMS > Inventory > Inventory By Batch
- Able to search expired inventory by select the Item Condition filter as Expired
- If there is any existing expired inventory, the search result will display information accordingly.
- Inventory Activity Query result will display the time when inventory moved to Expired status.
- Inventory By Batch result will display the inventory moved to Expired status in different batches.
Packing Material Flag
To prevent packing material stock-out, BEST added the identifier of packing material items. This can help tracking the usage of your packing materials.
- After a new packing material is added to BEST system, a new identifier will be added.
- To identify packing material items from USOMS > Items > Item Query
- A new option, Packing Material, has been added for the search filter of Type. This search will filter items identified as Packing Material.
- From the Item Detail, under the General > Summary section. Qualified items will display Packing Material in Type field for reference.
- A new option, Packing Material, has been added for the search filter of Type. This search will filter items identified as Packing Material.
- To check the inventory status of packing material items from USOMS > Inventory > All Inventory Query
- A new option, Packing Material, has been added for the search filter. This search will filter items identified as Packing Material.
- For existing packing material items, a new identifier is added to identify them.
- A new option, Packing Material, has been added for the search filter. This search will filter items identified as Packing Material.
- To monitor the inventory for packing material items from USOMS > Inventory > Inventory Activity Query
- A new option, Packing Material, has been added to the search filter. This search will filter items identified as Packing Material.
- If there are existing packing material items, a new identifier is added to identify packing material items.
- The quantity change history will be listed accordingly.
- A new option, Packing Material, has been added to the search filter. This search will filter items identified as Packing Material.
